History was surely made Sunday Evening October 25th, in the great city of Memphis, as the 1st Annual MSP Awards & Hall of Fame was held at the Comfort Suites. The Event was dedicated to former Semi Pro Football Player Brad Readus who died 2-years ago at the age of 30-years old. Readus was an outstanding person, athlete, and friend of many. The MSP AWARDS & HALL OF FAME officials named the "BRADFORD READUS AWARD" as perhaps the highest award presented during it's first annual ceremony and it was received by Mr. Eric Brent, wide-receiver, for outstanding talent and character.

The Photo of the Evening was that of the MSP Class of 2009 Hall of Fame as former players were united together for the very first picture to make it official. Also Semi Pro Football Running Back, Mr. Tim Beattie, was awarded the MSP "SHOWTIME ON THE GRIDIRON AWARD"
and a GIM MOVIE INC Marketing Contract for 1-Year. Memphis Semi Pro Football began in 1992 at Melrose Stadium and one of the 1st players to play in the Memphis Semi Pro Football league "DANNY WARREN" of Holly Springs, MS, was inducted at the defensive Linebacker's position.
